The show started this quiet day with a mock address from Putin about President Obama abandoning missile shield systems in Poland and Czech Republic on the 70th anniversary of the Soviet invasion of Poland. The Putin sound alike commended Obama. He ['Putin'] continued his praise, adding that the Kremlin is divided on whether this move shows, "you [Obama] are sucking up to me," or showed, "incredibly poor timing. Everyone thinks you are strategically stupid." 'Putin' referred to the 70th anniversary of, "the peaceful" entry into Poland.
Rush next discussed Health and Human Services Secretary, Katheleen Sebelius's, demonstration of and recommended method of sneezing into one's sleeves as being what, "Otis the drunk," from the Andy Griffith show would do. Rush suggests that, "blowing [your] nose on sleeve," is the type of behavior that elitists would normally expect goes on in conservative churches. Rush wonders what's wrong with a tissue.
New poll results show ever increasing opposition to Obama's healthcare plans.
Rush mentioned reports about unhappy woman. Rush said he doesn't, "accept all women are unhappy... probably liberal women are."
Rush pointed out a story about a key Obama supporter. One report on KCRA.com explains the president of Service Employees International Union Local 1000 District Labour Council 784 (i.e. Union) and, "California Department of Insurance employee," was sentenced to, "25 years in state prison." He, "pleaded no contest to child pornography." They continue, "Jamie Enrique Feliciano, a registered sex offender," was living in a home, "next to a children's day care center." Rush observes, "this is Obama's America."
Rush talked about a story out of St. Louis, Missouri - the lights on the Gateway arch are being turned off so as not to interfere with bird migration.
Rush played a clip of ACORN, 'CEO' figure head Bertha Lewis. She complained of racial overtones that undercover reporters posed as a pimp and prostitute because they [undercover reporters] thought the ACORN office would respond to that. Rush points out that they did.
Rush highlighted a report in the Washington Post about how First Lady Michele Obama caused numerous street closures and a massive deployment of secret service to get some organic Tuscan Kale. After enumerating all the vehicles and measures taken for this little visit to the farmer's market Rush commented there's, "nothing like the simple pleasures of a farm." Rush concluded on this, using a phrase similar to or precisely, "total hypocrisy."
Rush enjoyed revealing a story about Public Policy Polling. Dean Debnam, the founder and president of Public Policy Polling according to Rush is a, "huge liberal Democrat." Rush says that Debnam says in an interview that he [Debnam] is, "being asked NOT to poll," in some places. Rush explains, this is because the results are so bad, they [Democrats and White House] can't afford to poll on issues. Rush plays a sound bite of of Debnam saying this.
Rush also played a sound clip of someone heckling President Obama at yet another speech by Obama on the topic of healthcare.
Rush mentioned carbon credits being sold at high markup of the cost. He also mentioned a report that carbon credits are being sold in San Francisco. San Francisco airport opens 'Climate Passport' kiosks.
Rush discussed a sound clip of President Obama taking about the healthcare plan not covering illegals and then bringing up immigration. Rush explains that illegals won't be covered in the way that with amnesty - the illegals will be made legal and then they would be covered. An article in the Washington Times detail this.
Rush got a note from his staff that Obama may have plagiarized the phrase, "Ant's in my pants." This prompted the playing of King of Soul, James Brown, singing a song with the lyrics, "ants in my pants, I need to dance." It was an interesting clip, however it was not clear when or where President Obama said anything about ants.
Rush announced Media Tweak of the day as a possible a new feature, when the media will misinterpret something that takes place on the show. As an example, Rush DID NOT suggest there should be segregated buses in relation to the story about the white student beat up on a bus by a black student while other black students watched and some cheering.
Rush is discussing a picture of a witch doctor. There's a picture that is of Obama's brother, the one who lives in a hut. It is not Obama dressed up as a witch doctor,
Caller suggests the title, "Rush Limbaugh family museum," for a museum to be built in the village where Obama's family lives.
This call was regarding Obama's family in Africa waiting for money. Water is brought in by donkey's. Obama's grandmother is described by a village leader as living in, "a multi-hut compound." Rush said, "The elders want to build an Obama family museum." Rush figures it wouldn't cost that much assuming the building was a hut.
Rush played a sound clip of Olympia Snow describing the core principles of the Republican Party - limited government, individual liberties, fiscal responsibility, strong national defense. Rush comments that, while she did describe core Republican values, SHE does not embody them. Rather Snow is an example of a blue blood country club Democrat-lite type.
A caller suggests maybe Rahm Emanuel is having a hard try managing this crisis.
Rush responds that, "pretty soon, if you want money, you will have to go through some sort of government agency."
Rush continues, this is, the"why 2010 elections are crucial." Rush adds, "when you have as your mission to totally destroy the private sector... you have to know you will create chaos...," further explaining that chaos is part of what they [White House, Democrat Party] want.
A caller mentioned how here children were raised on Rush. She then described how the EPA is going after small organic farmers. Her story is based on the experience of her friend in Florida. Apparently, the EPA is either requiring producers to abandon their organic certificate or defend it. Defend a certificate can be costly from $300 to $500,000 each. This also requires extensive documentation, which a grower/producer would already have completed and maintained in order to have the certificate they currently have.
A caller suggested Snerdley do more official Obama criticism . Rush asks, "how many shows have callers" requesting to hear more from their screeners?
During the show, Rush played a clip of First Lady Michelle Obama getting chocked up talking about a time when one of their daughters was sick and needed to go to the emergency room. This story was to push Obama's healthcare. She said she remembered thinking how lucky she was to have health insurance. Rush didn't buy that suggesting that if you have a sick child and need to get to the hospital, you're thinking about that - not anything else. He also points out that the child would be treated at the hospital insurance or no insurance as that's the law. Michelle Obama also mentioned healthcare passage as being part of a plan. Rush caught this "plan" reference.
Rush ended the show noting, former Time Magazine editor who asked if G'd is Dead, John T. Elson, "is rip himself."
