What Rush Said - April 8, 2011 - Obama looks much closer to President Jefferson Davis than Abraham Lincoln

So far, Rush has been focusing on two things:

1 - possible government shutdown [Rush ponders: if Obama expects military to be at war, or a Kinetic exercise without pay is that not akin to slavery. Rush added, "that it's one thing to pick cotton," and [paraphrased] it's another thing to putting your life on the line [as a soldier]. Therefore, Rush concludes, that President Obama, on the anniversary of the start of the Civil War, is more like Confederate President Jefferson Davis than President Abraham Lincoln.

2 - Wisconsin Supreme Court election [note only controversy is that AP calling election without all votes in]

Additional comments from Dems decrying possibility of shutdown affected a clip of female Dem saying the shutdown is like bombing innocent people. Rush wonders if there could be anything more innocent than unborn babies as the Dems are willing to not pay the military but insist on funding abortions through Planned Parenthood. [More to follow.]

What Rush Said - April 6, 2011 - Democrats dependent on dependence

Rush summarized the reaction of hysteria from the Democrats at the prospect of a government shut-down over the government budget: The Democrats are dependent on dependence.

Early he stated that the Democrat party has replaced plantation owner.

Their [Democrats and liberals] hysteria is due to their fear of their power being taken away. Democrats have to enslave people. The survive by the dependence of people on the government.

All this, Rush explains, is perpetuated by a slavish media.

The Republicans are still trying to free slaves from the Democrat party.

If there is a shut-down, Rush says they will close down things where the media can get pictures of crying children. He suggests a visit to Mount Vernon, which is not funded by federal funds. Or a visit to the NRA museum.

Rush also played a couple of satire songs -- Obama singing the 60's folk 'Take a Load Off Annie,' with the words, 'pull the plug on granny.' Another satire was to Randy Newman's 'Short People' song -- Obama singing that about not liking old people and also including fat people.

About 800,000 government employees - about a third of the over 3 million large work force - might be effected by a shut-down.

Rush started off the show explaining how the Dems are just recycling the same old and tired rhetoric. He played vintage clips of Dems complaining about budget issues and it's exactly the same song and dance going on now.

What Rush Said - April 5, 2011

When rugged individualism is described to liberals it's like Dracula being shown a Cross.

Rush played a clip of Chris Van Hollen, which perfectly embodies Dems and Libs reading from the same tired playbook. Rush poses a question to Van Hollen's disingenuous complaints, paraphrasing Rush, "The Republicans want to return to 2008 levels - that's your budget. You mean to tell me Mr. Van Hollen that the elderly where thrown out of their homes in 2008? You mean that the 2008 budget, which you did, is full of tax breaks for wealthy corporations?"

Pelosi and Van Hollen complain about block grants, yet that is how money is sent to States. It's okay for states but not medicaid? Rush goes through a litany of all the money given to ATT, Verizon, GE for their union medical plans.

Rush explains: It's on the Democrats is the government shuts down. When it came time for the Dems to do a budget, they punted, they didn't do it. Rush says, "I want to see how the sausage is made....I want to see this play out in the media." Obama appearing about the budget is a sign that things aren't going well for the Dems. Rush mocks the same old complaints that the Dems have been saying for 30 years - boo hoo.

Rush has some ideas of where to cut the budget - GE in bed with the Regime cut their sweet heart tax deal, and how about getting rid of subsidies that fund wealthy companies developing the bogus green energy.

The Democrat party assumes no responsibility for the budgetary problems. They didn't do a budget last year, didn't do a budget this year. "We are the good guys, trying to clean it all up" the Tea Party, all the way up. The Democrats are MIA. The Democrats are getting a free ride form the media. The "masterminds of destruction." We are, "trying to get the car out of the ditch." Rush, "You can't top Obama for Chutzpah." This is the same guy who said, "I won." The same guy who didn't meet with Republicans after he was "immaculated" who now says, we can't have a , "no my way or the high way approach." Rush is pretty fired up.

Rush's closing observation - very curious how the media dropped the topic of the budget after Obama came out unexpectedly and talked about it. Do they [the media] think he gave away too much. Very strange this was all they could talk about before Obama came out and talked about it and now the media is on to other topics. Makes you wonder.

The timing of the announcement of Obama's reelection campaign and Eric Holder's announcement about the military tribunal of 9/11 defendants being held in Gitmo is no coincidence.
