What Rush Said - March 30, 2011 - Trump esq. You have to go to Africa to find something named after Obama

Rush quotes an attorney for Donald Trump regarding Trump's issuing his birth certificate, [paraphrasing] "Of course Trump was born in New York, just look at all the buildings named after him. You have to go to Africa to find something named after Obama." Rush correctly noted the New Jersey elementary school, now closing, that was named for Obama.

Open line Friday was today, Wednesday, as Rush explains he will be in Hawaii to appear before the Honolulu City Council regarding his mocking "Chi-com" president. That and some golf.

Rush played a satire song of Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA" with Obama singing - alternate words.

Rush is reading about a "Barack Obama male leadership academy." He remarks: What chutzpah. He also wonders if identification will be required.

A caller asked who was more of a threat Gaddafi or Obama. Rush remarked that it was really a good question: Who is more of a threat to the US economy Gaddafi or Obama?

What Rush Said - Tuesday March 29, 2011 - Obama Doctrine:2012 or bust

Rush: on Obama's speech on Libya. The Obama Doctrine: 2012 or bust.

A caller was puzzled over Obama's speech, he didn't recognize Obama speaking positively about America. Rush reminded him that, "liberals have to lie to win elections."

Rush talks about how liberals fight freedom. Rush: freedom threatens liberalism.

The number one enemy of liberals is freedom. The Right does not fear freedom but liberals do. He gives the example of Wisconsin.

Rush explains that Obama is undermining the sovereignty of the United States at the same time he is strengthening the UN. Obama side stepped the US Congress and got approval from the UN. Remember Obama considers himself a global citizen.

Here's a highlight that says it all. If memory serves, it came about during a discussion about Libya: We're [America under the Obama regime] flying by the seat of our pantsuit.

What Rush Said - March 16, 2011 - Hillary wants out!

Rush ending the show with transcript excerpt of Wolf Blitzer interview with Hillary Clinton. Blitzer asked Mrs. Clinton a variety of questions -- if Obama has a 2nd term would she want to be Secretary of State? Secretary of Defense? Vice President? President? Answers: No, No, No, and No!

Paraphrasing - the gist, just heard it but, as I was not transcribing the precise words have evaporated in the ether: In a unambiguous swipe at the Obama and his administration - Clinton added that democrat ideals run the risk of loosing when an autocrat is running amuck ramming policies through.

Earlier in the show Rush compared the media's fear mongering about the nuclear situation in Japan to the media's panic mongering with the BP Oil Spill. Rush reminded viewers that his assessment of the ocean handling the oil through the natural process of the ocean was exactly what happened. RUSH cautions that he does not see a reason for panic in the US and that it no radioactive cloud is going to travel from Japan to our West Coast. He sites the distance and dissipation that would occur.

Rush played a clip that interspersed breathless 'sky is falling' reporters reading various serious headlines with Obama's basketball picks. [These are facsimalies of the clips.]

Reporter: "Reports are that a fire has broken out at another reactor [in Japan."

Obama: "Ahhhh, I like Carolina."

Reporter: "The housing market numbers are down significantly."

Obama: "Ahhh, I'm going with Syracuse."

While this was clever audio editing and a funny audio bit, the reality of it is very disturbing.

Rush touched on the media now starting to inquire about where's Obama. Rush played clips of a press conference where Obama was questioned repeatedly about his leadership, or rather lack thereof, in making a decision about Libya.

Toward the end of the show Rush played a clip of a White House press spokesman [missed the name] who was asked about whether Obama was still planning a trip to the, I believe, Bahamas in wake of events going on in Japan. The answer, again paraphrased, "That is a crisis for Japan, it's not a crisis for America."

[Commentary outside of the Rush's comments - I saw a tweet about this and wonder the same in context of combining the questions about Obama's leadership and Hillary's interview. Maybe those trying to predict the Republican Presidential candidates should wonder who the Democrat challengers to Obama will be.

What Rush Said - March 14, 2011 - Media Scare Tactics Meltdown

I missed the beginning of the show but when I did pick it up it was clear Rush was commenting on the fear mongering and slanted reporting by the media about Japan's nuclear reactors. Reading from comments from Dr. Josef Oehmen, a research scientist at MIT it is revealed that not only are news reports plain bad, they are plain wrong as in inaccurate. As Rush explains there is a risk to everything. He quotes from the EIB's official climatologist, Dr. Roy Spencer of the University of Alabama-Huntsvilles who said, "Practical energy sources are inherently risky. There is risk associated with virtually everything, particularly in energy production -- and the reason is is that we need so much of it. There's no way to provide it without using concentrated forms of it. Petroleum, natural gas, coal, nuclear, those are all concentrated."

Rush explains that liberals want you to believe that they can have a utopia without risk. Along with risk is also reward. The high standard of living enjoyed in the United States is something that liberals want to undo for whatever convoluted reason. So they and through their media minions use scare tactics to stop progress. Of course, there's a false promise as there is no utopia. The media, and all leftist liberals, are using scare tactics and fear mongering to kill nuclear power. The left demonizes those who take the risk of exploration, and refinement, and distribution - using the oil industry as an example. People who work hard to provide us a life where you have an expectation there is gasoline at the gas station and you can be comfortable in your home by adjusting your thermostat. The liberals want to take risk out and there goes your standard of living.

Rush also suggests that Obama needs to learn from Japan whose financial situation is such that 200% of Japan's GDP is debt.

Later in the show Rush discussed the talking points the libs have criticising U.S. Rep Peter King on his hearings on Muslim Radicalization in American where they suggest such hearings with encourage more terrorism. Well then, Rush concludes, their (the libs and medias) ongoing criticism of the Tea Party ought to increase the Tea Party ranks. The same goes for their bashing Sarah Palin and, based on the liberal logic, support for Palin should be bolstered everything they trash her.

Rush tries to make sense of the nonsense. I didn't need to hear from Rush that the reports about Japan's nuclear situation were alarmist.

What Rush Said March 2, 2011 - no collective bargaining against tax payers,examples of democrat hypocrisy

- George Meany - former AFL-CIO head who wrote about no collective bargaining with public sector jobs. He recognized (along with other libs) the importance that if tax payers hate the government that doesn't help them. Rush explains you can't collectively bargain against tax payers.

- There is dissension in the ranks among democrats who have fled from Wisconsin. A female lawmaker, Julie Lassa, who is reportedly 6 months pregnant is not happy. How outrageous is it that a union is keeping a woman from her responsibilities as a wife and mother? Rush asks what the outrage would be if a private company was doing the same in order to get a contract negotiated. Imagine, he suggests, if Walmart was keeping a pregnant woman from home to get a contract approved. There would be congressional calls to shut the company down.

- Rush points out yet more democrat hypocrisy regarding call for justice Thomas to recuse himself in relation to a future health care hearing. "What," Rush said, "about Kagan?"

- 14 year old called in and asked if the same liberals protesting in Wisconsin who are littering all over Wisconsin, aren't the same ones who tell us that littering is ruining the planet.

What Rush Said March 1, 2011: Bogus Polls

Bogus Polling Data Done By State Run Media

Regarding Wisconsin and battle of unsustainable Union benefits, many in the state run media are reporting on a newly published poll that suggests a majority of American's support public employee union demands. Rush drills down through the story, reported in the New York Times, to the 7th paragraph on the 17th page of the paper where the breakdown of who participated in the poll is spelled out. While in the general population no more than 12% are in unions, over 25% of those polled were in a union. Another 25% of poll participants had a family member in a union. Is it any surprise then, when this group was questioned about union support, the results came down on the side of unions and against Governor Walker.

Paraphrasing that Rush remarks that this poll is yet another example of the state run media trying to change the facts, change the story, and ignore the results of the election in November and the trend moving forward.

Rush also had a great interview with Donald Trump - who had very good, although disturbing information about China and the devastation their policies are wreaking havoc on our Nation.
