What Rush Said - April 6, 2011 - Democrats dependent on dependence

Rush summarized the reaction of hysteria from the Democrats at the prospect of a government shut-down over the government budget: The Democrats are dependent on dependence.

Early he stated that the Democrat party has replaced plantation owner.

Their [Democrats and liberals] hysteria is due to their fear of their power being taken away. Democrats have to enslave people. The survive by the dependence of people on the government.

All this, Rush explains, is perpetuated by a slavish media.

The Republicans are still trying to free slaves from the Democrat party.

If there is a shut-down, Rush says they will close down things where the media can get pictures of crying children. He suggests a visit to Mount Vernon, which is not funded by federal funds. Or a visit to the NRA museum.

Rush also played a couple of satire songs -- Obama singing the 60's folk 'Take a Load Off Annie,' with the words, 'pull the plug on granny.' Another satire was to Randy Newman's 'Short People' song -- Obama singing that about not liking old people and also including fat people.

About 800,000 government employees - about a third of the over 3 million large work force - might be effected by a shut-down.

Rush started off the show explaining how the Dems are just recycling the same old and tired rhetoric. He played vintage clips of Dems complaining about budget issues and it's exactly the same song and dance going on now.
