What Rush Said - April 5, 2011

When rugged individualism is described to liberals it's like Dracula being shown a Cross.

Rush played a clip of Chris Van Hollen, which perfectly embodies Dems and Libs reading from the same tired playbook. Rush poses a question to Van Hollen's disingenuous complaints, paraphrasing Rush, "The Republicans want to return to 2008 levels - that's your budget. You mean to tell me Mr. Van Hollen that the elderly where thrown out of their homes in 2008? You mean that the 2008 budget, which you did, is full of tax breaks for wealthy corporations?"

Pelosi and Van Hollen complain about block grants, yet that is how money is sent to States. It's okay for states but not medicaid? Rush goes through a litany of all the money given to ATT, Verizon, GE for their union medical plans.

Rush explains: It's on the Democrats is the government shuts down. When it came time for the Dems to do a budget, they punted, they didn't do it. Rush says, "I want to see how the sausage is made....I want to see this play out in the media." Obama appearing about the budget is a sign that things aren't going well for the Dems. Rush mocks the same old complaints that the Dems have been saying for 30 years - boo hoo.

Rush has some ideas of where to cut the budget - GE in bed with the Regime cut their sweet heart tax deal, and how about getting rid of subsidies that fund wealthy companies developing the bogus green energy.

The Democrat party assumes no responsibility for the budgetary problems. They didn't do a budget last year, didn't do a budget this year. "We are the good guys, trying to clean it all up" the Tea Party, all the way up. The Democrats are MIA. The Democrats are getting a free ride form the media. The "masterminds of destruction." We are, "trying to get the car out of the ditch." Rush, "You can't top Obama for Chutzpah." This is the same guy who said, "I won." The same guy who didn't meet with Republicans after he was "immaculated" who now says, we can't have a , "no my way or the high way approach." Rush is pretty fired up.

Rush's closing observation - very curious how the media dropped the topic of the budget after Obama came out unexpectedly and talked about it. Do they [the media] think he gave away too much. Very strange this was all they could talk about before Obama came out and talked about it and now the media is on to other topics. Makes you wonder.
