- George Meany - former AFL-CIO head who wrote about no collective bargaining with public sector jobs. He recognized (along with other libs) the importance that if tax payers hate the government that doesn't help them. Rush explains you can't collectively bargain against tax payers.
- There is dissension in the ranks among democrats who have fled from Wisconsin. A female lawmaker, Julie Lassa, who is reportedly 6 months pregnant is not happy. How outrageous is it that a union is keeping a woman from her responsibilities as a wife and mother? Rush asks what the outrage would be if a private company was doing the same in order to get a contract negotiated. Imagine, he suggests, if Walmart was keeping a pregnant woman from home to get a contract approved. There would be congressional calls to shut the company down.
- Rush points out yet more democrat hypocrisy regarding call for justice Thomas to recuse himself in relation to a future health care hearing. "What," Rush said, "about Kagan?"
